My parents have spent a lot of time finding the right groom for me. Recently an alliance had come and we both liked each other. Match got finalized on both sides and we decided to take proposal further. Everyone was happy. I was speaking to this guy last 2 months but suddenly we had difference of opinion to fix wedding dates where he took it seriously and broke the match. Now I am quite devastated and upset as to what to do? I even apologized to him many times. But he concluded that we don’t fit each other thinking I am stubborn. I really like him a lot. I am unable to forget him and move on. My father also spoke to the guy requesting to meet and resolve any misunderstandings if required. I feel really guilty all this happened because of me. I am praying for you but just a thought-maybe this is a blessing in disguise? From his extreme reaction to a disagreement about wedding dates and calling you stubborn-he sounds like someone who wants a subservient wife he can control. Marriage is a partnership -if he doesn't see you as an equal at this point, it will only get worse as time goes by. I think you have had a lucky escape. It's better to stay unmarried then be with the wrong person who doesn't appreciate your opinions and feelings. I pray that Baba finds the right person for you.
