Shiridi Sai Baba Prayers from an Anonymous Devotee from US: I am Sai devotee since 2006. I have never experienced any Miracles in my life. People around me who I work with and my family say, i have a golden heart and always there to help. However my faith is starting to get shattered because since 2008, my life has been extremely rough filled with emotional turmoil. I went to medical school in Caribbean in 2006. During medical school, i did well but when I had to take licences exams (USMLE). I failed multiple times before I got ECFMG certified (Graduated medical school). Anyways after graduation you have to secure a residency position otherwise you are useless as a doctor. I have been consistently persevering to secure a residency position by doing volunteer work in hospital since 2011. I realized that since I Have attempts on USMLE I need to work even harder. Therefore I did one year of Externship (Clinical experience) at a hospital which has a residency program in NY. This was unpaid with lots of hard work determination long hours, everybody there praised me for my work, I did so much research there as well and even got publication. I have been working nonpaid and was struggling to pay my medical school loans.


Now two days ago, the Match/Residency results came and I found out that they did not hire me. I don’t know what I did wrong? why Baba did not help me? I don’t know if I am not a good devotee or what? At this time, I have lot of anger in me towards Sai Baba. The hospital I worked at and at myself for going into medical school. I cannot find any job since everybody tells me I have MD and I am too highly qualified. I am in desperate need of prayers! Please pray for me to Sai! Actually I am not even sure at this point if God really exits, since all other manipulative colleges of mine at the hospital got the residency job But I Did Not! Should I give up residency search? What should I do? Should I stop praying? I have not prayed for two days. Everybody says, God has better plans, but what good is the plan if I have no job and no money to pay loans? I am extremely disheartened depressed!

    Please have complete faith in Sai Baba. Having complete faith means not thinking about our difficulties and just concentrating on feet of Sai Baba.

    You are currently taking lot of stress on your self and praying with lot of disturbance in your mind thinking about the external stress that you have. You just have to tell your self, Sai baba is sarvaantharyaami and he knows your problems and he also knows how to save you. You need not tell him about your struggles, you just have to imagine that you are serving his holy feet and forget all the porblems for a while. Soon you will feel blisss. Sai Baba will immediately pull you out of your struggles. Remember, troubles come to us to test our mettle and provides an opportunity to increase our faith in God.

    Further, as our Baba always sayd please dont compare with any of your coleagues. They are in that situation due to different reasons. Dont assume the things temporarily. Sai baba has a long term plans. May be you are waiting in a station for a train but ticket collector didnot allow you into the train due to some reason andonly allowed others to take train. But Baba will surely take you in next train which will surpass the speed of the previous train. The only thing you need is immense faith in him.

    If you are a strong devotee of Sai baba you will be not talking about porblems because currently your problems are dominant than your bhakthi on sai baba.

    To increase your bhakthi and faith, i recommend you to do sai satcharithra paraayan and implement sai preachings as a true devotee of him.

    Trust me Sai will soon shower his blessings on you.

    Pls don't be disheartened by this. I know it's easy said then done. Everybody in life is going through some struggle but trust in him n the magic will happen. I can understand your situation as I m also going through a very difficult phase and at times I feel like giving up but something in my heart says no don't give up on Baba. Maybe it's just a test.   9. Like everybody is saying here it is easy to preach then go through the struggle. Baba always preaches Shradha(faith) and Saburi(patience) you need to have both. If you read the story of Draupadi in Mahabharata, Krishna did not come to Draupadi's aid when she was being disrobed, question is why He did not come. Answer is very simple she was holding on to her dress and praying thinking she can save herself. Once she gave that feeling and raised her hand in full surrender and prayed Krishna was there in an instant to save her. It is said we should call/pray to Sai like Draupadi, that is giving up everything and completely believing in Him. Lot of good things will come to you. Om Sai Ram

    Please do not loose hope and stay strong. I know many times we feel that it is easier for others to say Baba has better plans, have strong faith etc… Although these words do not make any sense to you at this point in time coz of your long period of struggles but this is the reality. Many times we feel that others in spite of not being fair and sincere have achieved much more than us but we must leave the judgement on Sai.
    We all have to go through pains and sufferings. I am sure that you will soon get much much more than you desired and one day all these ordeals will make sense to you. Just chant "Sai Sai" and never doubt His existence and love for you. Sai not only understands but He also feels our pain. He is always with us.

    Baba please bless your child with best job and shower Your love on him.

  12. dear devotee sometimes sai tests your faith n patience…he will give you pain temporarily to see whether you still have faith on him or not.he is testing you.i know what it feels when you wanted to do so many things but you cant!you have shradha in you but where is saburi?if you are a strong devotee then be bold…you must have heard this saying"NOONE WILL MANUFACTURE A LOCK WITHOUT A KEY,SIMILARLY GOD WONT GIVE PROBLEMS WITHOUT SOLUTION"…baba is with you dear….
